Ahojte Bulldogs Fans,
It is with great pleasure I present the Trnava Bulldogs American Football news and team update(s). From the Head Coach position my perspective and objective throughout the 2018 Slovak Football League season.
Dnes Vám s veľkou radosťou poskytnem novinky z tímu Trnava Bulldogs. A to z pozície hlavného trénera, mojej perspektívy a cez cieľ, ktorý som si dal pre ročník 2018 SFL.
The regular season has come to a close and the Bulldogs are entering the post-season semifinals. With many obstacles to climb the Trnava Bulldogs achieved a winning season with a (6-2) record. Also, performing extremely well during a long and spontaneous regular season. From my point of view we as an American Football Club have much work to do and more to learn in order to improve if our goal is to stay at the top and perform as the best team in this American Football League. We are not so far away from reaching our short-term goal(s) however we must stay focus and learn as we go each week as players, coaches and managers. The future in American Football looks very promising here in Trnava. I believe with winning comes more positive energy and hopefully more athletes who want to dedicate their time and positive energy into the sport and team. The 2018 Trnava Bulldogs season is still a story in the making as we continue our journey into the SFL Semi-finals. Having another week to play football in the post season is always in honor. Every team does not get a chance to compete in the playoffs, therefore we are proud to have the opportunity to play and compete again.
Základná časť sezóny sa skončila a Bulldogs vstupujú do semifinále. Napriek veľa prekážkam, ktoré museli prekonať, Trnava Bulldogs zaknihovala víťaznú základnú časť sezóny so skóre (6-2). Tím podával veľmi dobré výkony počas dlhej základnej časti. Z mojej perspektívy máme ako klub pred sebou ešte veľa práce a učenia sa, ak je naším cieľom zostať na vrchole a byť najlepším tímom v tejto lige. Naše krátkodobé ciele máme na dosah, avšak musíme zostať sústredení a učiť sa každým týždňom ako hráči, tréneri a manažéri. Budúcnosť amerického footballu v Trnave vyzerá veľmi sľubne. S víťazstvami prichádza viac pozitívnej energie a dúfame, že aj viac hráčov, ktorí chcú venovať svoj čas a pozitívnu energiu tomuto tímu a športu. Ako napredujeme do semifinále SFL, táto sezóna je pre Bulldogs ešte nedopísaným príbehom. Je vždy poctou môcť hrať ďalší týždeň počas play-off. Nie každý tím má možnosť dostať sa do play-off, preto sme hrdí, že máme možnosť hrať a znova súťažiť.
As we prepare and reset our focus on our next opponent, I want to give some insight on our players and where we are as a program.
Ako sa pripravujeme a zameriavame na ďalšieho súpera, chcem Vám poskytnúť náhľad na našich hráčov a kde sa ako program nachádzame.
As Head Coach, you have to manage guys who are at practice and those who are not. We must try to get the most out of everyone. It is never a simple task, however it is definitely possible. Leading any group on a mission that is not already predestined is a battle to be won mentally first. The Trnava Bulldogs Football Club is a group of young men searching for the right way to do things. Every practice players and coaches are learning something new, we are always learning and looking to improve as a club. The Brotherhood and Vison of the Trnava Bulldogs Club members is amazing however when we finally realize that it is not only about having the vision but also about the comment and actions that go along with it that will put us in the right position.
Ako tréner musíte manažovať hráčov, ktorí sú na tréningu ako aj tých, ktorí nie sú. Musímez každého dostať maximum. Nikdy to nie je ľahká úloha, avšak je určite dosiahnuteľná. Viesť skupinu počas misie, ktorá nie je dopredu predurčená, je vždy súboj, ktorý treba v prvom rade vyhrať mentálne. Trnava Bulldogs je skupina mladých mužov, ktorá sa snaží nájsť spôsob ako veci robiť správne. Na každom tréningu sa tréneri a hráči učia niečo nové a vždy hľadáme možnosť sa zlepšiť ako klub. Bratstvo a vízia hráčov je úžasná, avšak musíme si uvedomiť, že nestačí len mať víziu, ale do správnej pozície nás dostanú oddanosť a skutky, ktoré to sprevádzajú.
Through hard work and the complete dedication of coaches & many players we are currently in 1st place, yet if we can have the full comment of more players we could not only be in the first place position but also a more confident group or club. As I mentioned before we often lack the confidence and that is important when it comes to playing team sports. My vision is that more players will show up to practice consistently and we will be able to do more and prepare more effectively. We are on the correct road to the #Championship but we need #EEVERYONE!
Skrz tvrdú prácu a absolútnu oddanosť trénerov a mnohých hráčov sme momentálne na prvom mieste, ale ak by sme mali plnú oddanosť viacerých hráčov, neboli by sme len na prvom mieste, ale boli by sme aj viac sebaistá skupina alebo klub. Ako som spomínal, často nám chýba sebaistota, čo je dôležité v tímových športoch. Mojou víziou je, že na tréning bude pravidelne chodiť viac hráčov, vďaka čomu budeme môcť robiť viac a efektívnejšie sa pripravovať. Sme na správnej ceste za #TITULOM, ale potrebujeme #VŠETKÝCH!
In the midst of having a productive Senior Football season, we are already in Stage #1 of our Developmental Juniors Program. The juniors consist of almost 12-18 players. I am excited to work with the future of the Trnava Bulldogs Football program. Players and Coaches are actively working together and improving each weekend. Again, the future here in Trnava is looking good and we want to keep it that way and make it better. The Bulldogs have very solid management and incredible resources for all those involved. I am proud to be apart of a club that supports its players and coaches.
Počas produktívnej seniorskej sezóny sme už v 1. fáze nášho juniorského programu. Juniori momentálne pozostávajú z 12-18 hráčov. Som nadšený, že môžem pracovať s budúcnosťou Trnava Bulldogs. Hráči a tréneri aktívne spolupracujú a zlepšujú sa každým víkendom. Opäť, budúcnosť Trnava Bulldogs vyzerá dobre, chceme aby to tak zostalo a aby sa to ešte zlepšilo. Bulldogs majú veľmi solídny manažment a neuveriteľné prostriedky pre každého, kto sa zapojí. Som hrdý na to, že som súčasťou klubu, ktorý podporuje svojich hráčov a trénerov.
In closing, we always appreciate the people who support us most Family, Friends & Fans, we hope to see more people in the crowd this weekend for the Semi-finals game vs Nitra Knights.
Na záver, vždy oceňujeme ľudí, ktorí nás podporujú najviac, rodiny, priatelia a fanúšikovia a dúfame, že tento víkend uvidíme v hľadisku viac ľudí na semifinálovom zápase proti Nitra Knights.
